Bernadette Angeles, MD
Dr. Angeles is a board certified psychiatrist and is a Diplomate of the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology.  She specializes in the treatment of adults ranging from age 18 and older.

Dr. Angeles attended medical school at Wayne State University where she graduated with honors and later received her training in psychiatry at Henry Ford Hospital in Detroit, Michigan. She has served as a staff psychiatrist for Henry Ford Health System and at St. John/Providence Health System where she also provided supervision and training to medical students and residents.
 
Dr. Angeles is currently in private practice and is an affiliate staff member at St. John/Providence Hospital.   She is a member of the American Psychiatric Association and the Michigan Psychiatric Society.

Dr. Angeles believes in the vital role of mental health in todays society and its importance to an individuals overall well-being.  She is dedicated to helping clients reach their full potential and enrich their lives through improving mental health.
Dahlia Berkovitz, PhD, LMSW, LMFT
Dr. Berkovitz brings a caring and compassionate attitude along with a therapeutic philosophy of the appropriate therapeutic touch and of the right amount of therapeutic intervention. She has a Doctorate degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from Michigan State University, College of Human Ecology, and a Masters degree in Clinical Social Work from Wayne State University.
 
Dr. Berkovitz works with individuals, couples and families from all ages with relational issues that may include pre-marital counseling, relational conflict, divorce, blended families, and parenting skills and individual issues including: dealing with anxiety, depression, bi-polar disorder, sexuality, gender, and sexual orientation issues, and ego-strengthening to name a few.
 
Dr. Berkovitz is trained in clinical hypnosis and has successfully helped clients manage a wide variety of personal issues including smoking cession, sexual dysfunction, feelings of anxiety, and improved inter-personal relationships through hypnosis.
 
Dr. Berkovitz is an adjunct professor at Wayne State University, at the Social Work department and for the past six years has taught future therapists couples therapy and human sexuality.
 
She is very respectful of her colleagues and clients, and believes in providing strength-based services, allowing the individuals to maintain their dignity as they go through their healing process. She is a member of the American Association for Marriage and Family Therapy (AAMFT) and of the National Association of Social Workers (NASW).
Shannon Tomkie, LMSW
Shannon Tomkies philosophy reflects a belief in the dignity of the individual, as well as the ability for all of us to change and grow. Being adaptable is the key ingredient to success as we work toward change. She views problems as opportunities for growth. It is often through crisis that change occurs.
 
Mrs. Tomkie has had over 25 years of experience in the area of Clinical Social Work. In that capacity, she has successfully dealt with problems relating to individuals, couples and families.
 
Her professional experience includes work with Psychiatric In-Patient settings, Medical settings, and Outpatient Behavioral Medicine. She has treated adolescents, adults, and geriatric populations.
